My name is Hobie Hare, and I also now live in Missoula, Montana. Eight seasons working as an interpretive National Park Service ranger in Yellowstone, plus an interwoven background in education, communications, advocacy work, wanderlust, and international travel, really paved the way for me to serve as an instructor and naturalist-guide with the Yellowstone Association Institute for six seasons.
From my new base camp in Missoula, I continue to energetically guide people on rewarding and rejuvenating outdoor journeys, where folks connect with wild landscapes, as well as with fellow adventurous travelers.
As a contract guide for three reputable commercially-permitted Montana based tour companies, I also guide people to other national parks, and am available through these companies for leading customized and standard departures as well.

Here’s hoping that you’ll make it to Yellowstone soon, and in the meantime, that you’ll get outside in nature every day!
